Description
Che Guevara, an Argentine doctor, became a partisan and revolutionary in Cuba, then a minister there for years, a theorist and ideologue of the revolution who never got rid of his submachine gun. Then, at the height of his glory and power, he left everything, instead going to the mountains of Bolivia, where he tried to fight "American imperialism" with a small partisan team for barely a year, but lost. It is thus a very short biography, behind which are plenty of personal tragedies and other events. No one has written Guevara's real biography so far in Hungarian. The last time a book was published about him was before the change of regime, in which, of course, the doctor was called the hero of the communist world. In this work, however, we can learn about his real life, along with all its secrets. Private life and political life, as intertwined with him, are unified and ultimately tragic into a whole.
